A team of cyclists dressed up as Father Christmas made the short journey to Katharine House Hospice to take part in a Santa Ride.

The group from Banbury Star Cycling Club set off from Broadribb Cycles in George Street on Saturday and rode around the town before stopping off at the hospice based in Adderbury.

Nicky Xandora, president, said: “I noticed the advert of the Santa Fun Run and this was just a small idea I thought of. Broadribb Cycles have helped us a lot by providing a place for us to meet, and Katharine House Hospice is a charity close to everyone’s heart.”
