Pupils at King’s Sutton Primary Academy have expanded their road safety project.
The Glow Worm campaign is a joint project between the school and resident Maureen Hanmer which encourages motorists travelling through the village to slow down.
Pupils are also encouraged to wear bright clothing on the way to school so they can be seen when crossing the road.
A song has been written for the campaign which the school choir hopes to perform at a later date, possibly in the new year.
Miss Hanmer said: “It is only by working together we will keep the children safe.”
