Fields across Banburyshire will be packed with families enjoying the many events on offer in the area for this year’s Bonfire Night .
First out is Greatworth School’s and Whistley 2000 scout group’s fireworks display with a bonfire at Hobwell Field from 5.30pm on Saturday. Chacombe’s annual display will take place in Berry Close from 6pm the same day.
On Sunday King’s Sutton residents are invited to the playing fields from 4pm.
More festivities take place on Guy Fawkes Night, Wednesday, November 5. People are welcome to take part in Boddington’s bonfire at the Jubilee Field from 6.30pm. Steeple Aston’s Robinson’s Close will be filled with people from 6.15pm and Culworth residents are invited to Hill Field from 6pm.
Those in Banbury who want to make sure they get treated to a memorable evening are invited to the 46th firework and bonfire night at Bodicote Playing Field from 5.45pm.
The festivities will continue next weekend and on Friday, November 7, Acorns Pre-School in Helmdon is inviting people from 6pm as is Bloxham Primary School. Deddington Primary School will be hosting its event from 6pm.
Next Saturday, November 8, will also be busy. The fun will take place at Cropredy’s sports club from 6pm. In Adderbury, Christopher Rawlins School will keep crowds entertained at Bo Peep Farm from 4.30pm. The PTA at Shenington Primary School and the gliding club will host the village’s display at the airfield from 5.30pm.
Sibford Gower’s PTA bonfire and fireworks night will take place from 5pm.
