Railway services on this line will be running into London Paddington all day and until 11am a bus replacement service will be in operation between Gerrards Cross and Banbury.

The Aylesbury - Amersham - London Marylebone line will run as per the normal timetable and continue to operate services from London Marylebone.

Due to the length of trains will not be calling at Lapworth, Hatton and King’s Sutton. A mini bus shuttle service will serve these stations throughout the day.

While the line is closed a number of improvement projects will be taking place.

They include capacity enhancements to the sidings in the Wembley Area, work on the High Wycombe upgrade which will see a brand new footbridge at the end of the year and a platform extended to allow for longer trains in the future.

Work on the new line between Oxford Parkway and London Marylebone line will open in October and work is also ongoing on the major upgrade project in the Banbury area to modernise the signalling equipment and make track layout changes.
