An aspiring musical theatre star is aiming high after receiving a sponsorship grant for her studies.

Tiffany Boisselle, 18, has been presented with a £1,500 sponsorship grant from her local Wilko store, on Bridge Street, Banbury.

Miss Boisselle will use the sponsorship money to help her pay for her studies at a top drama school, the Performance Preparation Academy in Guildford.

It will also help fund future study and training.

The donation was made as part of Wilko’s Local Stars initiative, which sponsors people from across the country who have a special talent, are an inspiration or help in their community.

Amanda Mumford, Wilko store manager, said it was inspiring to hear about local talent. She said: “Tiffany is a fantastic representative for our town and we hope the sponsorship money goes a long way to helping her pursue her dream job.”

Miss Boisselle said: “I’m incredibly grateful for the sponsorship from my local Wilko store and every penny will make a difference when it comes to helping me carve out a career from my love of performing. My family and friends are always so supportive, but it’s great to know I’ve got the backing of a local business as well.

“I hope I can do Banbury proud on the stage.”
