Popular '˜Ask the Vet' webinar returns

Mansion Hill veterinarian, John Taylor, will be taking to Internet to teach pet owners across Banbury how to look after their animals in case of emergency.

The live question and answer session will be hosted on the Middleton Cheney Vet’s Facebook page and will tackle the subject of pet first aid and will mark the second in a planned series of webinars on pet related topics.

Mr Taylor said: “Pet first aid is a tricky subject, but Facebook live video allows us to talk to pet owners directly and answer their questions immediately.”

“We tried a live Facebook video in May and it was enjoyed by so many people that we’ve been asked to run a series based on popular pet topics.”

Tpoics covered during the webinar are due to include how to treat your pets minor cuts and sprains all the way up to recognising pet emergencies such as twisted stomachs. People will be able to submit questions beforehand and Mr Taylor will also be answering questions submitted live via the Facebook comments.

My Taylor said: “It’s so easy for people to join in- all they have to do is go to our Facebook page, just search for Mansion Hill Vets and look at our events calendar. On the night itself the video will automatically appear on our Facebook page both on mobiles and on PCs.”
