Suzette, who has previously ran for council seats and has been involved in running other candidate campaigns, said: "It was really positive, a really good campaign and I am happy with that.

"So many people have come forward, not just for the vote but for the whole campaign, it's been amazing. We've had all kinds of people and that's been phenomenal, I'm feeling really positive.

"We've had an amazing response from young people and they have been our target."

This has been one of the most decisive campaigns in living memory and Suzette has found this while canvassing across Banburyshire.

"We've had a good response as well from people who are not happy with the Tories, even Tories who have not been happy with Tories," said Suzette.

There has, though, been one major topic of conversation.

"People are stuck in the world of Brexit and it's hard to see past Brexit."

Suzette's next political adventure will be running a councillor campaign for son, Blue, but her immediate plans are somewhat more simple.

"Sleep and try and stay dry."
