Change to Cherwell council's contact hours

Phone lines will be opening at the later time of 9am but the closing time of 5:15pm will remain unaffected.

The change is being made to accommodate daily updates and development opportunities for CDC staff.

Currently less than two per cent of phone calls are made at that time of the day. CDC hope the change will enable it to offer customers a better experience when speaking with them.

To make sure CDC don’t miss any essential emergency calls, existing out-of-hours phone line cover will be extended until 9am. The emergency out-of-hours service is available on 01295 221531.
