A big yellow bus calling for a second Brexit referendum with a Boris Johnson lookalike and 'EU Supergirl' campaigned in Banbury town centre on Saturday (December 8).

Pro-EU group Banbury for Europe was joined in their regular Saturday stall outside Debenhams by the 'B****** to Brexit' bus with Madeleina Kay as the superhero and 'Faux Bojo' as they toured the country.

Saturday’s events were part of a national day of action organised by activists and supporters from the campaign for a 'people's vote', ahead of tomorrow's vote in Parliament on the

government’s proposed withdrawal deal.

Banbury for Europe chairman Matt Hodgson said: “This was a hugely successful day of action, with over 150 events happening nationwide telling the government that we are not buying this dodgy deal.

"This deal satisfies no one and solves nothing. The only way out of this mess is to give the decision back to the people in a people’s vote.”
