Police have urged motorists to avoid an area in south Cherwell this afternoon (Monday) where six fire appliances are tackling a field fire.
Thames Valley Police Cherwell said: “Fire crews and police are currently on scene at a field fire between Tackley and Bunlers Hill.
"Six fire crews are currently in attendance and police are currently closing roads to assist crews.”
Policce said the fire is contained and no buildings or livestock are in danger.
“Please avoid this are while fire crews deal with this incident,” they said.
