Police make arrests in traveller site raid
In an operation led by Northamptonshire Police and supported by Thames Valley Police, officers are currently searching caravans and other property at the Dunroamin site, close to the village of Whitfield and the Turweston aerodrome.
Chief Inspector Tom Thompson, Daventry district commander, said: “We have had a very successful morning in terms of making arrests which we believe are linked to a large amount of criminality. A team of officers have conducted a thorough search of the site and local community offices from Brackley remain on site to assist with things like children attended school.”
