Police issue re-appeal to find wanted man last seen in Banbury

Thames Valley Police is continuing to appeal for the public's help in tracing a man who is wanted on recall to prison.

David French, aged 32, was last seen in Banbury on July 15 in Edmunds Road.

He is described as white, 5ft 10ins tall, of broad build and has cropped brown hair. He has a birthmark on the left side of his neck.

PC Nathan Davis, from Banbury Local CID, said: “Our enquiries to trace David are continuing.

“We would still like to hear from anyone who recognises David or knows of his whereabouts and ask them not to approach him but to contact police as a matter of urgency.

“He is known to frequent the Banbury area and also has links to Basingstoke and Milton Keynes so I would also appeal to anyone in these areas to report any possible sightings of David.”

Anyone with any information about the incident should contact the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101 quoting URN 1289 29/7.
