A man was attacked and then robbed by two men after one of them asked him for a cigarette.

At about 8.20pm on Wednesday September 14, a 19-year-old man was walking along Queensway where he turned into an alleyway.

The teenager passed two men sat on a wall. One of the men asked the victim for a cigarette and then punched him on the jaw. The second man then took the cigarettes from the victim before both walked off.

The 19-year-old victim did not require hospital treatment.

The first man is described as white, approximately 6ft 2ins tall, aged in his early to mid 20s, with blond hair and wearing glasses.

The second offender is described as white, aged in his early to mid 20s with short brown hair.
