A 35-year-old man was taken to hospital with facial injuries after being attacked in Banbury.
The incident happened on Tuesday, March 3 at about 6pm in Alma Road. The victim was hit in the face with an implement and sustained injuries to his nose. He was taken to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford.
The offender is in his late teens or early twenties, white, slim with white short fair hair and was clean shaven. He is 5ft 10ins and was wearing a light blue zip up jumper with two white stripes down each sleeve.
He was carrying an implement described as a pipe or baton.
Detective constable Grahame Lea from Force CID in Banbury, said: “I am appealing for anyone who may have information about this incident. Three men were seen in Alma Road and the offender is believed to have left the scene in the direction of Fulwell Close.”
