Police and ambulance services called to incident in Banbury street late last week

Multiple emergency services vehicles were called to a Banbury residence late last week to a reported death.

Thames Valley Police vehicles along with two to three ambulances were seen near the block of flats in the Hearthway during the early evening hours of Thursday April 23.

One area resident reached out to the Banbury Guardian with concerns after seeing the number of emergency services in the neighbourhood some of which were described as 'police in full white suits.'

A Thames Valley Police spokesperson said police were called to a 'non-suspicious sudden' death of a man in his fifties.

His next of kin has been informed.

Police were called to the incident in the Hearthway, Banbury around 4.40pm on Thursday April 23.

A file is being prepared for the coroner.
