More than 350 men, women and children took part in Banbury's Remembrance Day parade on Sunday.

They included serving soldiers, veterans, cadets, representatives of the town’s clubs and societies, police, firemen and paramedics.

The civic procession included Banbury Mayor Cllr Gordon Ross, Oxfordshire’s Deputy Lieutenant Sir Tony Baldry, Cherwell District Council chairman Chris Heath, town clerk Mark Recchia and town councillors.

Twenty Royal British Legion bikers followed the marchers. After a service in St Mary’s Church, around 80 wreaths were laid at the cenotaph in People’s Park.
