4.
Oscar Jones was born at 5.15pm on March 24 at the JR weighing 9lbs. Oscar's mum, Tmaze Simms, said: "Me and my partner Daniel were due to have our first son on 7th March, but he had no plans to make an appearance so I was booked in to be induced on 24th March, the day after lockdown was put in place. Were first time parents so was quite nervous. Due to Coronavirus, Dan wasnt allowed in the hospital whilst I was being induced which did make things slightly more nerve racking but we understood it was the right thing to do. The midwives were really apologetic and made sure I was okay and comfortable at all times. As soon I was in full labour, Dan was allowed in and Oscar Jones was born. Again, all staff at the JR were fab and I couldnt sing their praises any more. Oscar hasnt met any of his family yet, which has been so hard for everyone. Luckily everyone understands its for the best and when the day comes, itll be so special."
