A meeting of the full council will be held on May 13 with members ‘attending’ via a dedicated video conferencing facility.

Members of the public will also be able to follow the proceedings through a broadcast on Facebook Live.

Cllr James Mills, Leader of the Council, said: “It is vital for the democratic process that we hold these meetings as soon as possible.

“There may be some technological challenges with potentially 49 councillors trying to attend via video link but I am sure they won’t stand in the way of what will be a very welcome return to the debating chamber.”

The associated documents can be viewed here.

Anyone wishing to access the meeting on the day should go to www.westoxon.gov.uk/meetings on the day and follow the link.

Assuming the meeting is conducted successfully, it will be followed by the Lowlands Area Planning Sub-Committee meeting on May 26.
