Traffic advisory issued for motorists after A422 road closure between Banbury and Brackley

Motorists should be expect delays due to a road closure on the A422 between Banbury and Brackley from a gas leak late this morning, Tuesday January 12.

The South Northamptonshire Council issued a traffic advisory about the road closure on Twitter.

The advisory also said the public can not access the Farthinghoe Reuse and Recycling Centre on the A422 due to the gas leak.

The road is closed on the A422 both ways from the Charlton turn off to the Thenford turn off.

According to AA Traffic, the road may be closed for most of the day.
