Traffic advisory issued with severe delays for the A422 area of Banbury

Motorists warned of severe traffic delays along the A422 area of Banbury

Motorists should expect additional traffic delays today (Tuesday August 25) along the A422 near junction 11 of the M40.

The traffic congestion is due to continued road works made worse by a broken down vehicle awaiting recovery.

It's recommended motorists allow extra time to travel if its necessary to drive through that area of Banbury.

An advisory of the traffic delay was issued by the Transport and Travel Information Centre Team from Oxfordshire County Council on social media today, Tuesday August 25.
