The school sent out a message to parents and carers advising them school would be closed due to Severn Trent experiencing a major fault, which led to no water being available at the school.

Severn Trent sent out a message to village residents this morning, which said: "We're really sorry to bother you, we just wanted to let you know that the booster pumps that brings water to your area is experiencing a major fault.

"Our teams are on the way to the site now to investigate and get your water supply back to normal as soon as possible.

"We aim to have this fixed by 12pm. We thank you for your patience. Updates can also be found at www.stwater.co.uk."
