Banbury Guardian reporter Matt Elofson took photos of the Banbury town centure during 'Lockdown 3.0' yesterday, Friday January 8.

Many shops selling essential items remain open as are banks and local grocers and several shoppers could be seen walking around the town centre.

Other shops such as the Euro Food Centre in the High Street along with WHSMith in the Castle Quay Shopping Centre remain open for business.

People also have several options in the town to stop for a coffee or hot chocolate on their daily walk. Among those options include The Rustic Bean Coffee House,

One of those options is The Barrow Coffee shop in the High Street where you can find your favourite coffee, a hot chocolate or a slice of flapjack.

Harriet Barrow, who runs the mobile coffee shop, moved to Banbury from London where she was an actor and started business to adapt to the times.

She said: "I'm a trained barista. I've basically been making coffee alongside acting in London for 12 years. Now here on the High Street in Banbury."

Last month she was stationed near the Swan pub in town and before that in Hook Norton. Next month she will be at the Enstone Market when it starts back up again.

Harriet added: "I actually want to turn it into an espresso martini van as well.

"Not only am I giving people a great cup of coffee I'm giving them a friendly face to talk to. At the end of the day people just want to talk to someone.

"I like meeting everybody too. You meet all sorts of characters.

If you're on your daily walk and need a caffeine boost you can usually find The Barrow Coffee at the top of the pedestrianised area of the High Street from 8am to 3pm Tuesday to Saturday.
