The mayor of Brackley Cllr Don Thompson, officially reopened the Brackley Town Football Club events space, 'The Venue' after two years of hard work and reconstruction following the devastating fire in 2019.

Kicking off the celebrations held yesterday (Tuesday June 22) with the Community Open Day, the mayor, Cllr Don Thompson, cut the ribbon at 11am following a speech which addressed how important the re-opening of the clubhouse was to the community and the further facilities it can provide.

The opening celebrations also included performances by local singer Kevin O'Regan and the Brackley Wind Ensemble.

Brackley Town Council wish The Venue the best of luck with the remainder of their re-opening events this week.
