Man sentenced for incident involving assault on two police officers in High Street of Brackley

A man has been sentenced to prison in connection to the assault of two police officers during an incident in the Brackley High Street.

Thomas Dilley, aged 34, has been sentenced to 12 weeks in prison (on Monday June 21) after being found guilty of committing criminal damage to a member of public's car & assaulting two Police officers during his arrest and detention.

The sentencing relates to an incident in May in High St, Brackley.

Thomas Dilley from Brackley was arrested on May 10 after punching and breaking the window of a car on High Street in Brackley. After his arrest he tried to punch and kick the officers who dealt with him. Neither officer was injured.

Dilley was given 12 week concurrent custodial sentences for the offences and ordered to pay compensation.
