Man dies in accident at a Banburyshire farm

A man in his 40s has died after an incident at a farm in Duns Tew.

Thames Valley Police confirmed today that officers attended the incident between 4.25pm - 4.45pm yesterday afternoon (Thursday).

Thames Valley Air Ambulance and several fire appliances rushed to the scene, understood to be at Lower Barn Farm.

A police spokesman said: "This was an incident of an unexplained death of a man aged in his forties. Officers attended at around 4.45pm along with ambulance and fire services."

An Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue service spokesman said: "Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service was called at 4:25,pm to the incident at Hempton Road, Duns Tew.

"Appliances attended from Banbury, Kidlington, and Hook Norton fire stations. Fire and Rescue made the scene safe before requesting the attendance of a mechanical assistance vehicle to provide access for SCAS (South Central Ambulance Service).

"Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service left the site at approximately 9pm."
