Man arrested in connection to two-vehicle collision in Banbury

Thames Valley Police have arrested a 33-year-old man today (Sunday, July 12) in connection to a two-vehicle collision in Banbury.

The arrest occurred after officers with Response Team One of the TVP Cherwell police area responded to a collision involving an Audi A3 and a HGV on Lockheed, Close, Banbury.

The passenger in the Audi, a woman, was taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries from the crash.

The collision occurred around 1.40pm on Sunday July 12.

Police arrested a the 33-year-old man on suspicion of careless and drug driving.

The man arrested by police was released from custody this evening.
