Man airlifted to hospital from Banbury sports centre
Roads were closed around Spiceball Sports Centre when an ill man was airlifted to hospital.
Teams of police officers attended the Banbury sports centre to stop traffic to allow the air ambulance to land to transport the man to hospital.
A police spokesman said: "Officers attended a fear for welfare incident at Spiceball Leisure Centre, Cherwell Drive, Banbury at around 6pm on Friday.
