Perry typically competes in the S6 category of para-swimming but last night performed in the faster S7 category in his Commonwealth Games debut appearance.

Australia's Matt Levy finished first earning himself another Commonwealth Gold after claiming gold at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
