In pictures: here’s a selection of photos from the storm in Banbury - including one featured on Good Morning Britain

These amazing storm images come from members of the Banburyshire Info Facebook group who were quick to post photos of the lightning from their homes. Banbury resident, Karen Murphy's photo of the cloud formations was featured on ITV's Good Morning Britain's show today (Wednesday August 12). Laura Tobin, ITV's weather presenter, described the skyline saying: "First of all we saw the incredible and I mean amazing text book cumulonimbus clouds. They're the mother of all clouds. They're up to seven miles high and contain millions and millions of tons of water and then they turned into these torrential thunderstorms we saw last night.
