Here's what Sky TV were filming in and around Kineton at the weekend
The show is due to air in summer
A TV camera crew were spotted in Kineton on Saturday (January 23) filming with a bright red Audi R8 supercar.
Make UK TV were filming a segment for ‘Spotting London’s Supercars’ which airs on Sky and Freesat this summer.
They were in town at Gilks’ Garage Cafe on Banbury Road in Kineton with YouTube star Ben Rayne who just bought his first supercar.
Due to new government guidelines, TV shows are still allowed to film during lockdown in a Covid safe environment.
Some residents saw the bright red supercar drive up and down the high street for filming of the Sky TV show.
Director Harry Rutter of Make UK TV said: “We hope we cheered up people on their daily exercise or shopping trip.
“The Audi R8 supercar we were filming with was a real head turner and the V8 engine really echoed around the town.
“My TV show follows supercar spotters from London and explores why they do it, Ben Rayne is very familiar with the capital and hopes to take his new car there soon.
“Spotting London’s Supercars airs this summer on Sky channel 365 and FreeSat channel 516 or online with Spotlight TV.
“If you like Supercars and HyperCars, you’re going to love the show, and you’ll see Kineton in it too, you might spot yourself.
“We want to thank Gilks’ Garage Cafe for allowing us to film on location, it was great being in Kineton and we’d love to come back soon.”
