Thames Valley Police will host the security marking events for both hand and power tools at John Nicholls Building Materials in Overthorpe Road on Tuesday, February 4 between 9am and 12pm.

The second event will be held at the John Nicholls Plumbing Centre on Dorcas Road on Banbury Trade Park, on Wednesday, February 5 between 8.30am and 12pm.

Members of the Banbury Town Neighbourhood Policing Team will be on hand to also give advice about reducing your risk of tool theft from vans and outbuildings.

This service is free of charge and you do not need to make an appointment to either event – just turn up and bring your tools with you.

The security marking system used is CREMARK which will require 24 hours for the protective lacquer used to fully dry.
