Firefighters respond to quad bike fire in Shipston on Bank Holiday Monday

Firefighters from the Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service responded to a quad bike fire in Shipston on the Bank Holiday Monday.

Crews from the Stratford Fire Station attended and upon arrival found the bike was fully developed in flames.

The crews used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire.

No other property was involved in the fire.

The incident was due to a mechanical fault.

The quad bike was used to pull a trailer to help volunteers to maintain the cricket and football pitches in Shipston.
