Firefighters rescue horse stuck in pond near Brackley over Bank Holiday weekend

Firefighters rescued a horse stuck in a pond on a farm near Brackley over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Crews from the Brackley Fire Station and the Animal Rescue Unit from Wellingborough rescued a horse who was stuck in a pond. The horse was rescued around 2.20pm on Sunday August 30.

Emergency services responded to reports a horse was drowning in a pond at farm in Halse Road, Brackley.

Firefighters rescued the horse and turned it over to an area vet for aftercare.
