Firefighters rescue 4-year-old child stuck in rainwater drain in Brackley

Firefighters rescued a 4-year-old child who had become stuck in a rainwater drain in Brackley today, Wednesday January 13.

Crews from the Brackley Fire Station released a 4-year-old boy after his foot had become stuck in a rainwater drain.

The incident happened in Falcon Way, Brackley around 1.20pm this afternoon, Wednesday January 13.

The boy was released without any injuries, and into the care of his mother.

A Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue Service Spokesperson said: "Our firefighters are well equipped to deal with all manner of emergencies as they are highly trained in all manner of 'rescue' scenarios as well as 'fire' ones."
