Fatal incident on railway line near Leamington station
British Transport Police have confirmed that a person has died on the railway line near Leamington Station today (Thursday March 12).
A statement from the transport police says: "Officers were called to the line close to Leamington Station at 2.25pm today following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
"Paramedics also attended however sadly a person has been pronounced dead at the scene.
"Officers are now working to identify the person and inform their family.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
