Expected high winds lead to cancellation of Banbury Market
The Banbury Markets have cancelled their weekly market for tomorrow, Thursday March 11, due the forecast of high winds.
The Banbury Markets posted the following message on its Facebook page: "We're really sorry to say that we will be cancelling Thursdays (11th) Market due to the high winds forecast.
"A yellow warning has been issued by the Met Office for high winds throughout Thursday and as a result we won't be able to safely set up the market stalls.
"Hopefully the winds will have subsided so we can safely open with our essential traders on Saturday."
