Drive-in cinema venue returns to Banbury for Christmas season

Two holiday favourites will be shown at the Banbury Rugby Union Football Club through a partnership with Drive-in Films.

Drive-in Films will be showing Love Actually for adults and The Polar Express as a family movie on Sunday December 27.

For The Polar Express showing gates open at 4pm, film starts at 4.40pm.

For Love Actually gates open at 7pm – Film starts around 7.40pm.

Two holiday favourites will be shown at the Banbury Rugby Union Football Club through a partnership with Drive-in Films.

Ian Marriott, director of Drive in Films, said: "We will be staging a drive-in cinema experience to give the community a lift after lockdown and to help protect and provide much needed funds for the local Community Amateur Sports Club."
