Dates set for road resurfacing near two roundabouts in Banbury

Roadworks for the areas near the roundabouts in town have now been scheduled for this summer.
Oxfordshire and Banbury Town Cllr Mark Cherry, who represents the Ruscote area, has announced sections of the road at the roundabout in Warwick Road located close to Cromwell Road, Ruscote Avenue and the Orchard Way roundabout are now scheduled to be resurfaced this summer.

Hide AdThe resurfacing work is scheduled to start August 23 through September 4. The scheduling of the roadwork has come as a result of a few years of working and liaising with Oxfordshire County Council's highways officers.
Cllr Cherry said: "A lot of highways survey works and lobbying has taken place to achieve this with Oxfordshire County Council highways team."
Potholes will continue to repaired until the road resurfacing works are completed in Warwick road.
Cllr Cherry added: "When the road is fully resurfaced it will be autumn and winter ready for 2021 / 2022.
