Crews respond to tractor fire in field near Banbury over the weekend

Crews responded to a tractor fire over the weekend near the village of Tadmarton.

The crew from the Chipping Norton Fire Station attended a call out Saturday morning around 11:05am (June 5) to Tadmarton, just outside of Hook Norton, for a tractor fire. The crew assisted firefighters from Banbury Fire Station.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue posted a message on its Facebook page about the fire, which said: "The farmer sadly lost his tractor to the blaze, but no one was injured.

"Thanks to swift action by the attending crews the fire was stopped from spreading to the surrounding field.
