Crash on M40 near Banbury causing traffic delays in area

The accident was first reported around 2.15pm and occurred in the northbound lanes of travel between the Banbury exit at junction 11 and the Gaydon exit at junction 12.

The accident involved a vehicle crossing the central reservation this afternoon.

The accident initially led to the closure of two of the three lanes on the motorway. There are currently delays of at least 30 minutes against expected traffic.
