Cod, sausage, chips and curry sauce is Banbury's most popular dish says Deliveroo
That is the revelation today from Deliveroo as it celebrates its first year in Banbury with an insight into eating habits over lockdown.
The delivery company's data reveals Friday was the night most locals ordered during the coronavirus lockdown period.

Hide AdThe on-demand service has looked back at what locals have been eating and it shows Friday at 7:11pm is the most popular time for Banbury residents to order. Further data has shown locals love British food the most, followed by American and Chinese.
Most popular dishes ordered during lockdown were small cod, sausage, chips and curry sauce from Banbury Fish Bar, two hot wings from KFC, sweet and sour chicken balls from Anh, chicken Katsu curry from Zushi restaurant and chicken Tikka Masala from Jay Pur.
Since its launch in the town a year ago, more than 20 restaurants have signed up to the platform. Deliveroo has created work for more than 40 people, the majority being the Deliveroo riders who deliver freshly cooked food within 30 minutes.
Deliveroo supports local businesses in Banbury, with 60 per cent of its partners being local independent restaurants, creating new revenue streams for homegrown culinary talent.
