The Malthouse Kitchen is a welcoming restaurant with bar in the brewery's visitor centre. As well as a great range of ales and drinks (obviously) it offers a varied menu of tasty and nutritious meals from specials, which include a Pork Pie with Old Hooky mustard on the side, to a selection of sandwiches and wraps.

There are assorted jacket spuds and delicious handmade pies and a number of favourites ranging from pasta and sausages and mash to Malthouse burgers and huntsman's chicken. And if you still can't decide, why not settle for a Drayman's Dinner with special Hooky cheeses, gammon, salad and all sorts of scrumptious garnishes.

Add an aperitif or other drink from the bar - perhaps one of Hooky's great list of ales and brews - or a soft drink. Then finish with a delicious desert and a tea or coffee from the menu.

The super Bah Humbug Christmas hamper includes a Hooky Beanie hat, a bottle of Twelve Days, a packet of traditional sweets, a Hooky pint glass, a fridge magnet bottle opener and a jar of Old Hooky Chutney. And the Twelve Days and Hooky bottles of ale will go down a treat over Christmas.

If you are looking to do some Christmas shopping online and want to still buy local - which we thoroughly recommend - then take a look at the Hook Norton Brewery shop website here.

As well as the wide range of beers for which Hooky is internationally renowned there are hundreds of wines and a selection of spirits as well as numerous other great gift ideas that you can order online for local delivery or click and collect. If you want to stock up on bubbly for the festive period there is a great selection in the wines department - see here.

The shop will also be open during the lockdown. The brewery is hoping to be able to stock some grocery essentials such as milk and eggs.
