Child injured in three-vehicle collision near Fenny Compton and Ladbroke

A three-vehicle collision between Ladbroke and Fenny Compton last night (Tuesday June 2) left a child injured.

Warwickshire Police were called to the report of a three vehicle collision in Ladbroke, Leamington, around 8.30 pm yesterday, Tuesday June 2.

The collision involved a Vauxhall Astra, a Nissan Juke and a VW Polo.

A 5-year-old child sustained injuries and was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Police

West Midlands Ambulance Service responded to the collision with two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Critical Care Car.

On arrival the ambulance service discovered two patients, a woman and a girl. They were both treated for potentially serious injuries before being taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further treatment.

Road closures were in place whilst emergency services were in attendance.

The collision occurred on the A423 (Banbury Road), and led to road closures between the Ladbroke turn off and Fenny Compton cross roads by The Wharf.

Warwickshire Police are looking for witnesses to the collision.
