As the county’s independent health and social care watchdog, Healthwatch wants to hear from parents about what support services are working well and where there might be gaps.

Healthwatch Oxfordshire would also like to hear the views of organisations which provide support for parents.

Parents and organisations can have their say by completing this short, anonymous online survey - see here.

The survey findings will be fed back to the Oxfordshire Children’s Trust Board, which works to improve outcomes for all children and young people in the county. Healthwatch Oxfordshire has two Ambassadors on the Trust.

Rosalind Pearce, the Executive Director of Healthwatch Oxfordshire, said: “We really want to hear from as many parents as possible so we can build an accurate picture of what support is working and what could be better.

“We’d particularly like to know what concerns they are facing as parents, what help and support they might have received and how effective that was, as well as whether they think there are any gaps in the support currently on offer.

“What we hear will enable our Ambassadors to truly reflect the voice of parents on the Trust and help ensure that the Trust is addressing the issues that parents have told us are important to them.”

Anyone who would like to talk this through over the phone, or who would like a paper copy or a translated version of the survey to be posted out, can call 01865 520520.
