Staff hosted a stall inside the store with a raffle over two weekends, including the bank holiday weekend to raise the money for the hospital.

Simon Howes, a manager at the store, said: "We wanted to say thank you for all the hard work over the Covid year, and give them money to improve the staff outside rest area. We managed a huge £1000 and today presented them with the cheque.

"We want to support our local hospital and our community and make a difference."
