Banbury Shed offering workshops to help people learn about the 'smart' appliances in their homes

A Banbury group, the Banbury Shed, is hosting a workshop to help you learn more about the technology in your home.

Members of the Banbury Shed will be running four free online sessions where people can learn together how to program 'smart' appliances in the home.

Banbury Shed has secured lottery funding to be able to run the sessions, which will be entirely free of charge to Banbury residents, plus a fun kit of parts provided for the duration of the course. They have a limited number of kits so early registration is recommended. To find out more try one of these sessions:

Banbury Shed is an organisation run by members, for members. In non-pandemic times they met at a physical shed in People’s Park in Banbury. However, Covid-19 restrictions have meant that since March 2020 they have switched to a weekly online session - the Shedinar - where they simply drop in on Saturday mornings to chat about any ongoing projects. Members ask each other for tips and ideas.
