Banbury school launches '12 Days of Christmas' campaign encouraging people to #shoplocal in #Banbury
A Banbury school has launched a special 12 Days of Christmas campaign, which helps promote local businesses in town during the run-up to Christmas.

St John's Priory School has launched its 12 Days of Christmas programme encouraging people to #shoplocal in #Banbury.
A spokesperson for the school said: "2020 has been a challenging time for everyone, especially local businesses.
"Being a part of Banbury town community, we wanted to help support local business owners in Banbury town by running a social media campaign, where we could promote them to our wide audience of followers across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

"'The 12 Days of Christmas' is designed to promote one shop each day over 12 days, to encourage people to 'shop local' this year and to provide gift ideas for the run up to the festive season.
"Banbury BID have been a great support throughout the campaign and put us in touch with all the local shop owners in town. We are promoting a wide range of businesses, providing lots of alternative gift ideas for shoppers for the run up to Christmas."
The full list includes: Slurp Wine, Belflair Chocolate, Strummer Room Records, Italian Larder, Nothing But Footprints, Revival MK2, Steve Betts Butchers, Banbury Museum, Kendals, Dream Nails, The Secret Garden Flowers shop, Banbury Sewing Centre, Doodledash and We are POP.
The campaign started on Saturday November 28 and will end on Wednesday December 8.
