Banbury Rotary Club hosts successful 'Christmas Collections' for Katharine House Hospice and other charities in town centre

The Banbury Rotary Club hosted a successful 'Christmas Collections' for Katharine House Hospice and other rotary charities over the holidays in the town centre.

The Club said the Christmas tunes on street organs at the corner of Church Lane and High Street, in Castle Quay and in Banbury Market Place were well received well by shoppers and traders alike.

Seventy-five per cent of the money collected will go to Katharine House Hospice and 25 per cent to other local causes.

At this difficult time club members would like to thank those who stopped by and listened, especially the 'children who jigged,' and in particular all who donated something towards our local hospice and the other causes in greater need than usual.
