Banbury man raises more than £800 in head-shave challenge for charity

A Banbury man shaved his head and long beard as part of a fundraising challenge to raise money for the charity Mind.

Kevin Cairns set up a GoFundMe fundraising web page with the aim of shaving off all his hair and beard if he reached the £200 fundraising target.

His partner, Sally Caple, said: "Well he smashed that so it was all shaved off live on Facebook. The total currently stands at a little over £800.

"He wanted to raised money for a charity which supports mental health, in particular suicide awareness so he choose Mind.
