Prabhu Natarajan, who works as a carer at a Banbury care home, delivered the items to a local primary school yesterday Wednesday December 9, for the distribution to 25 'struggling' families.

The 606 number comes from Prabhu wanting to help people whilst also marking his son, Addhu's sixth birthday coming up on January 18, 2021.

Prabhu and his wife, Shilpa Natarajan, spent most of their seventh wedding anniversary last month buying 'essential' items for isolation food packs and then delivering them to people around Banbury throughout the day.

Prabhu posted a message on Facebook, which said: "We are so excited to let you know that we have delivered #606products to a school, which will help 25 struggling families marking as Addhu's 6th birthday gift on Jan18th. The boy was so happy in writing cards for all the family."

The items delivered included biscuits, rice/pasta, noodles, assorted tinned food, gift wrapped chocolates, greeting cards and more than 45 jackets.

Prabhu's son, Advaith Prabhu (Addhu) took the time to hand write Christmas cards to include the food packs.

After announcing his plan on Facebook this week to continue his mission to help people in town several people and businesses came forward wishing to help with donations.

Prabhu added in his post on Facebook: "It would have never ever happened without real life heroes.

"I took this initiative on because I really wanted to something good for 25 families. God gave me a message to do something big for families."

Since Prabhu and his wife decided to help the community on their anniversary last month he has received hundreds of messages on social media from people needing help in the community.

Prabhu is now planning another initiative for late next week, which includes him dressing up as Santa for children in the community in the run-up to Christmas.
